With all the renovations, we keep hearing a recurring theme…

“But we’ve had that light in the bathroom since I was born!”

“That door has been here my whole life!”

“But…”

It’s all one kid.  Most are totally excited about the new things going on but Kaylene has proven to be deeply attached to every nail, paint swipe, and stain on our ceiling.  Even Morgann protested against the scraping of 10 year old chocolate chip cookie dough off the ceiling and painting over it.  “But those are my memories!  My childhood!”

However, for the most part, Kaylene has cornered the market on sentimentality.  “But that mold has been on the shower caulking FOREVER!”

You have to admit though… she’s gorgeous!  (Proud mama talkin’ here!)
